The project delivered 21 kilometres of new rail and five new stations – Morley, Noranda, Ballajura, Whiteman Park, and Ellenbrook in Perth’s north-east corridor. Other major construction included: two rail viaducts (measuring 900 and 300 metres respectively); three new intersections; two road bridges; one rail bridge; one rail tunnel; three pedestrian underpasses; 150,000 railway sleepers; two fauna underpasses and 3,300 parking bays.

McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd

The new Bridgewater Bridge is the largest transport infrastructure project in Tasmania’s history. It strengthens Tasmania’s National Highway, connecting local communities and fixes the missing link between the Brooker Highway and Midland Highway. The new 1.2 kilometre long bridge has two lanes in each direction and new interchanges at Bridgewater and Granton, as well as a safe shared path for cyclists and pedestrians.

North Western Program Alliance, comprised of: Level Crossing Removal Project, John Holland, Metro Trains Melbourne and Kellog Brown Root

The project removed three congested level crossings at McGregor Road, Main Street and Racecourse Road by constructing a 2 kilometre elevated rail viaduct. Pakenham Station was rebuilt and the rail line extended and duplicated to the newly constructed East Pakenham Station, improving reliability for V/Line and Metro services. Both station precincts were upgraded with intermodal bus connectivity and additional car parking.

DT Infrastructure, McConnell Dowell, ARUP, WSP, V/Line (rail operator) and Rail Projects Victoria

The South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Duplication Project was delivered by the Djilang Alliance, comprising of DT Infrastructure, McConnell Dowell, ARUP, WSP, V/Line and Rail Projects Victoria. The Djilang Alliance successfully removed two level crossings at Surf Coast Highway and Fyans Street, constructed two elevated rail bridges, duplicated over eight kilometres of track, and upgraded South Geelong and Marshall Stations.

John Holland and Seymour Whyte Constructions Joint Venture

The Sydney Gateway project (incorporating Stages 1 and 3) involves constructing a new motorway connection from the St Peters Interchange (WestConnex tunnel network) to Sydney Airport, including 19 bridge structures and over 5 kilometres of new road, enhancing connectivity and reducing congestion.

Built Environs Pty Ltd

Construction of Australia’s first all-electric 6-star public healthcare building, Kangkanthi, Kaurna word meaning ‘to care’, signifies a major advancement in South Australian healthcare. Delivered by Department for Infrastructure and Transport and SA Health and constructed by Built Environs the five-level Clinical Service Building comprises a 46-bay emergency department, 12 operating theatres, a 14-bed ICU, and state-of-the-art imaging and procedure rooms.

The METRONET Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project is a transformative legacy infrastructure project. It includes the construction of six intersection modifications, removing existing level crossings, five elevated stations and two bus interchanges (24 bus stands), 4 kilometre of elevated rail, major utility upgrades and 6 hectares of landscaped public space
